Business Excess or Umbrella Liability
Additional liability limits are needed when your asset values exceed the amount of insurance under your general liability policy. While most Business Owner's Packages can include excess limits of liability up to $5,000,000, a traditional liability policy cannot. Therefore, we have access to numerous companies who will increase your maximum liability as high as you require.
Excess Liability provides an additional amount of liability insurance over and above the general liability and business auto liability. It provides for the exact same coverage as the underlying policies and are generally referred to as "following form" excess liability policies.
Umbrella Liability provides an additional amount of liability insurance over and above the general liability and business auto liability, but can include some areas of coverage not included under the basic policies, also known as "gray areas".
