Leeds & York operates as an independent agency in providing Specific and Aggregate Stop Loss Insurance coverage for self-funded employer health and welfare plans. These plans are underwritten for individual employer groups. We also underwrite pool and coalition group contracts and additionally we provide quality markets for Provider Excess Loss Insurance and HMO Reinsurance. Provider Excess Loss Insurance provides physician and hospital providers with financial protection high-volume or unexpected high dollar claim amounts. HMO Reinsurance provides an HMO with the same protection against unexpected high dollar claim amounts and unexpected high dollar claims.
